Synopsis
Seventy years before Harry Potter read textbooks written by Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) at Hogwarts, the author traveled to visit a secret society of wizards in New York City. This spin-off of the Harry Potter film, which is set in 1926, tells the story of Newt's journey around the world to meet and document magical animals. However, when he stopped in New York City before ending his journey, Newt accidentally released the magical animals he kept in his magic suitcase in the world of No-Maj (humans without magical abilities).
