Synopsis
On the surface, Koudo Ikusei High School is a utopia. Students enjoy unparalleled freedom, and it ranks high in Japan. However, the reality is less than ideal. The four classes, A through D, are ranked by merit, and only the top class receives favorable treatment. Kiyotaka Ayanokouji is a student in Class D, where the school throws out the worst. There he meets the unfriendly Suzune Horikita, who believes he was placed in Class D by mistake and wishes to move up to Class A, and the seemingly friendly class idol Kikyou Kushida, who aims to make as many friends as possible.
